US 9th Army takes Margraten cemetery.    Ammunition ship the USS Mount Hood (AE-11) exploded while moored at Seeadler Harbour, Manus, Admiralty Islands leaving 45 confirmed dead and 327 missing and presumed dead.  German round ups in Rotterdam & Schiedam–52,000 men sent to Germany.
