How Can You Help
The goal of the USS LCI National Association is to ensure that LCI veterans’ legacy is retained for the benefit of future generations. However, to achieve this goal, we need your help. We are seeking to increase membership, donations, and volunteers to assist us in our effort.
The USS LCI National Association, in order to remain a viable organization, needs to increase memberships and donations to support our work. With the death of many veterans during the past few years and with a subsequent drop in family memberships, the organization is faced with a challenge in sustaining the organization. Now more than ever we need the support of a veteran’s family, friends and others. Help us preserve the history and legacy of the LCI World War II Veterans.
VOLUNTEER TO HELP
Since the inception of the USS LCI National Association in 1991, US Navy World War II veterans, their families, friends, and others have managed and/or supported the organization in preserving the history and legacy of the sailors that manned these amphibious ships.
The goals of the organization have not changed. We remain fully committed to preserving the history, honoring the sacrifices, and sustaining the memory of the brave sailors that manned these Landing Craft Infantry ships. Since the USS LCI National Association relies entirely on volunteers to administer and manage the affairs of the organization we need your help.
We need volunteers to serve as Officers and Executive Board members or could otherwise contribute their time and talent in assisting us in the publication of the Elsie Item newsletter, planning annual reunions, or working with the website team in updating the USS Landing Craft Infantry website.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
