Bulgaria announces withdrawal & German troops are to be disarmed.  French General De Gaulle braved the threat of German snipers as he led a victory march down the Champs Elysees in Paris which had just been liberated by the Allies from Nazi occupation. US 12th Army Corps crosses river Seine East of Paris.
