Japanese Premier Hideki Tojo visits Java (Through July 10th).  The Battle of Kursk enters its 3rd day.  Germans occupy Dubrova, Croatia.  German fighter pilot Erich Hartmann shoots down 7 Russian aircraft at Kursk.  Liberator bombers sink U-517.   German Submarine U-951 is sunk by depth charges off Cape St. Vincent in the North Atlantic.
