The 1st SS-Panzer Korps counter attacks at Normandy.  Allies occupy Port-en-Bessin, Normandy.  Dutch Resistance fighter Frans Duwaer arrested.  General Bernard Montgomery lands in Normandy and sets up his Headquarters in Chateau de Creully.
