Cleveland Browns organization formed by Arthur “Mickey” McBride.  German occupiers flood Beemster & Fencer, Netherlands.  Soviet artillery begins shelling Berlin, Germany.  U.S. 7th army captured German cities of Nuremberg and Stuttgart.  U.S. forces capture Motobu peninsula on Okinawa.
