Generals Harold Alexander, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Kenneth Anderson, & Omar Bradley discuss the assault on Tunis, Tunisia.  James Gow & Arnauld d’Usseau’s “Tomorrow the World” premieres in NYC.  The main Japanese naval code, the Navy General Operational Code (dubbed JN-25 and decrypted by American intelligence),  deciphered a forthcoming visit by Admiral Yamamoto to Balalae Island and resulted in his plane being shot down 4 days later.
