All aboard!

In Memorium

The USS LCI National Association honors the memory of the LCI sailors who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country during World War II.  A list of those killed in action has appeared in several Elsie Items over the years with the most recent list published in Elsie #86 (May 2014).  The LCI National Association recognizes that these lists were not complete or entirely accurate and continues to do additional research to ensure that all LCI sailors who died during the war are properly recorded.

The listing presented below is the most recent update since May 2014. Please note that our research effort has also expanded to now include additional information on other LCI crew casualties, combat award recipients, and the LCIs that were damaged or sunk during landings and operations. We will continue to update this list periodically as new information is obtained or available.

If you have any information to correct or add to this list please contact us.  Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

We will keep you informed of our progress.
